Hello World (Again)!

The Site is launched, with this article sitting as its only real content. Hey, I needed something, right?

I'll get this site put up live, by hook or crook.

I've been working on and off on this silly thing for a few months, now, and every time I get somewhere, I find some other way to stall it. But forget that crap. I'm going to publish it today!

Of course, the tense of that last statement doesn't apply to you, gentle reader, but please allow me my moment of dramatic proclamation.

So here it is, Yarthur Files Mark 2, which sounds a damned sight better than 2.0, eh? As I have made clear in the crazed rant above, this is not a finished product, and there are several things needing to be started, let alone completed. But hopefully everything should come along in time.

The next step? As of the publication of this posting, I have no contact form, let alone commenting mechanism or anything like that. So, I think I'll set up a contact form for now. I hope to implement a comment system soon, but haven't had the time to look at too many systems, and probably wouldn't know what to think about them, anyway. Lots to learn.

Anyway, please stick with me. I'd like to see what happens if I got a couple readers to this effort.

Who is this frood?

The Yarthur Files is run by John Arthur. John's just this guy living in St. Paul, Minnesota. He painfully tries to eek out a living by pretending he can make Web sites, and collecting spare change from other people's couch cushions. While as of yet he's been too pathetic to work up a proper bio, you can learn a bit about him at his on-line portfolio site, not that you'd be interested in that sort of thing.

What about his hoopy site?

The Yarthur Files is John's foray into become the public celebrity no one really wants him to be. He thinks it will help him learn more about Web design, writing, himself, and life in general. In the end, the populace will most likely determine that it was simply another site they accidentally stumbled upon while trying to research entertaining kitchen experiments.
